Christmas Eve

We all went to church at 4:00 PM on Christmas Eve. The kids stayed with us and actually did pretty well during the service. They enjoyed the music and the glow sticks!
While we were talking to a few friends after the service, we found Cole up on stage checking out the drums with the church band drummer. Next thing we knew, he was on his lap hitting the drums! He loves music!
Once we got home, we took some pictures while we were waiting for dinner to finish. Here are our two cuties!
I had forgotten how tough it is to get a picture of an almost one year old! And the three year old wasn't much better. He did not want his picture taken, but eventually he came around with a promise of a present to open later. You do what you have to do! This was as good as I could get of the two of them together.
Most of them turned out like this or blurry!
Aunt Janet had some fun with both of them though!
We took a few family pics as well.

I think this is one of my most favorite pictures with my little man!
This was the best we could do of the kids with their favorite aunts! Haha! They look so happy...
The moment Cole had been waiting for finally arrived. He got to open a present! Actually, I think he opened his and sister's. Everyone got their Christmas PJ's!

Before going to bed, Cole left his note for Santa with a few cookies, milk, and carrots for the reindeer. We also left Elf Sally, so Santa could pick her up and take her back to the North Pole. :)
