O' Christmas Tree

Last weekend we went to the Owasso Christmas Tree Farm that we've been going to since we moved here to pick out our Christmas tree. We love going out there and usually pick a tree that's already been cut because we like the short needle ones. This year, we went to Chick-fil-a for breakfast before hand, which is always yummy! Gotta love those chicken minis! Once we got out to the farm, Cole had his own agenda, none of which including picking out a tree! He mostly wanted to climb on the hay and run around.
We tried to show him the tree we picked...
But then he was off again to see the little trees.

But...then he didn't want to listen and threw a fit. Oh 2 year olds!

Then we went to look at the "train", and we tried to take a few pictures, but it just wasn't happening today.

He also had another breakdown when we had to leave because he was having a hard time listening and staying out of trouble, so needless to say it wasn't the most fun trip, but we found a great tree! In Cole's defense, he was very tired from getting home and to bed late the night before and not really being on his usual schedule for a week. I think it had all just caught up to him.

After lunch and a nap, we got out Cole's little tree to let him decorate that for his room. We had picked out some ornaments from Hobby Lobby a few weeks ago, including some monster truck ones! So he did enjoy that and has named all the trucks. It now sits on his dresser in his room to bring a little holiday spirit. Bonus, it doubles as a night light!
