Toledo Trip

Two weeks ago we took a trip to Toledo to see my family and watch Stacy play in the Marathon Classic (new name) in Sylvania, where my aunts, uncles, and cousins live. My parents rented a house for the week where we all stayed. We flew there on Wednesday night so Tony could work most of the day. Stacy played in the afternoon on Thursday, so we were able to sleep in, go for a run, and have some lunch before heading out to the tournament. Cole actually took his nap, and he and I came out to watch the last few holes at the end. This was the only day Cole was able to putt with Stacy. It's his favorite thing to do at tournaments! Stacy even got him a real putter. It's a Titleist one that's been cut down to Cole's size.
We went to eat at Ventura's, a local Mexican place that the Heil and Lewis families go to often. Afterwards, we got ice cream at Mr. Freeze. Cole dominated his vanilla with sprinkles!
We went to watch golf in the morning on Friday. Cole was able to watch the first nine before going back to take his nap.
Friday night we had dinner at Aunt Kathy's house. My Mom also got in Friday evening. We had tons to eat, cookie cakes, and games of corn hole. Cole was a wild man running around chasing the dogs and having a great time playing outside. He was super sweaty by the time we left!
Saturday was more golf and the same type of schedule with the Cole man. Tony and I would leave and grab lunch, drop the other off, and one of us go back to watch the rest of Stacy's round. It worked our pretty well for us since we only had one parking pass. Dinner was at Aunt Gigi's where we again had tons of food, but their house is volleyball. It's pretty intense and competitive with all the players!
More golf on Sunday! Stacy played awesome and had one of the lowest rounds of the day to give her a top 10 finish. It was fun to see her play so well!
We had a great time catching up and hanging out with the Lew Crew again! We're going to see most of them again in a few weeks at the Solheim Cup in Denver too. Cole has such a fun time seeing every one too. He gets so spoiled with all the attention and new toys! :)
