Our flight from London to Paris was about an hour long and we both slept nearly the entire time. In fact, I was woken up suddenly by the tires on the plane hitting the runway in Paris as we landed. I'm always amused by "immigration" in Paris as they never scan our passports or even look at anything, just put a stamp in it and move us on our way. So technically the French government doesn't even know we are in their country right now. Oh well.
After getting to Paris, we hungout with my sister and the family for a while until the kids went down for a nap. That's when Beth and I went out and did a little sightseeing in Paris. We did the usual, Eiffel Tower, crepes, walk around, look at stuff and then get really tired because we had technically really slept in over 24 hours.
My sister made us lasagna for dinner which we love and then we just relaxed around their apartment before going to bed.
Yesterday we went to Versailles in the afternoon and had a picnic. It was fun to see Versailles and see all of the gardens. Gab and Louise had fun because they could run around and play and not get in trouble.
After we got back to Paris, Beth and I went to the Louvre, saw the Mona Lisa, and then just walked around a little bit. We've come to realize that we've seen most of the stuff that we want to see in Paris so we're having a hard time figuring out what to do. We had dinner at a nice little Italian restaurant last night and then headed back to my sister's.
Today we had lunch with my sister at McDonald's. Well, we got McDonald's and brought it back upstairs to their apartment. Now we are getting ready to head out and explore a little bit more. Below are a few pics of the last few days.
