Christmas Tree

Yesterday we went shopping for our first Christmas tree. Beth's family has a place that they always go to and it happens to be pretty close to our house. It was fun trying to find the perfect tree and I think that's definitely what we found. Growing up, my family always had fake trees. Not until I met Beth had I ever really even seen a real tree in someone's house. I just assumed it was a huge mess and a big pain to have a real tree. I've learned now that I was totally wrong. I love having a real tree and enjoy the experience of picking out your own tree every year. Janet documented the tree process for us yesterday so most of the pics are on her camera, but we have a few below.

Other than getting our tree yesterday, we had a mini going away party for Stacy, who left for LPGA Qualifying school this morning. This is the final stage of Q School and we will know by Sunday if Stacy will be playing on the LPGA tour next year. This seems like something that we have talked about for so long that it's hard to believe it's finally here. We can't wait to follow her rounds this week. She'll do great.

After dinner, we came back to Beth's parents' house and watched the Sooners beat the Pokes. It wasn't pretty, but we we won and I'm glad we won. More pics coming soon.
