Beth and I finally broke down last night and bought new running shoes. We had both been complaining for the past two weeks about how are legs were hurting because our shoes were worn out. As we really start getting into our half-marathon training, the last thing we want to do is run on old, worn out shoes. So last night we went to Luke's Locker and got new ones. Speaking of our training, here's where we stand:

  • Seven miles

  • Eight miles

  • Nine miles this weekend

  • Ten miles November 17th

  • Eleven miles Thanksgiving Weekend

  • Twelve miles December 1st

  • Thirteen miles December 8th

  • HALF MARATHON!!!!! December 15th

Wow, nice work breaking down the make up. Know what I mean? It's really great that you've broken down your set goals. You really have to set those kinds of benchmarks if you're going to succeed. So, good job doing that. I wish you the best in your half-marathon.
