I've come to realize lately how much sadness there is in life. We are surrounded by it on a daily basis in nearly everything we do. But rarely do I realize how much joy can come from sadness. I heard about a story that was going to be featured on ESPN a few nights ago and told Beth that I wanted to watch it. "What's it about?" she asked. I told her it was about the University of North Carolina mascot who was tragically hit by a car this past March just before the Tarheels Sweet 16 basketball game. Beth, probably wondering why I wanted to watch a story on a mascot, kind of thought about it and said okay whatever, knowing that we were going to watch it anyway. So later that night we sat down and watched the story of Jason Ray and for the next 15 minutes, I don't think there was a dry eye in the room. It's not a short story. It may take you 10 or 15 minutes to read it, but I promise it'll be worth it. Click here to read about Jason Ray.
