I read a really good book on the plane ride home from Detroit. I definitely recommend everyone check it out. And before you get too amazed by the fact that I read an entire book on a two and a half hour flight, let me say that it's only 111 pages and the writing in the book is pretty big too. The book is called "Night" by Elie Wiesel. The book is narrated by Wiesel and is his account of he and his family being taken from their home in Transylvania by the Germans and moved to Auschwitz in Poland. Over the next years Wiesel and his father(he never saw his Mother and sisters again) endured more suffering and pain than is even imaginable. The book is easy to read and well worth it. It gives a great perspective on things and made me realize how lucky I am to have what I have in my life. Anyway, check it out!
