There's a first time for everything

I guess it's time for my first blog now since Beth has gotten this thing started. Not quite sure what I'm supposed to talk about. But here I go. Beth and I are super excited for what lies ahead the rest of this year. Paris in a month will be fantastic. We hope to track our entire trip online so everyone can see all of our pictures and share in the festivities. There are so many picture type moments in Paris that it will be hard not to post everything, but we'll try to keep it to only things that others will be interested in. Of course this includes posting lots of pictures of my cute niece and nephew, Louise and Gab. Louise is seven months old and Gab will be three in July. I wish they didn't live so far away as I only get to see them a few times a year. Although Beth and I were just in Paris last April, we hope to see a lot of the same things again as well as explore many new areas of Paris. This will be my sixth time to Paris and each time I go I see something new.

I can't wait for July to roll around to see Beth's sister, Stacy Lewis, play in the Jamie Farr LPGA tournament. We went last year and had the best time. Spending your mornings watching the Tyra Banks Show and the Price Is Right(we didn't have cable in the house where we were staying) and your afternoons watching great golf isn't a bad gig. We are both so excited for Stacy and all she has done with golf and can't wait to see what the future brings her. If you get a chance, check out the most recent article written about Stacy in the Houston Chronicle. I'm hoping this year's trip to Toledo, Ohio will bring a volleyball rematch from last year. I have a feeling Beth is a little nervous about this as I spiked the ball in her face the last time we played. It's part of the game, what can I say?

Anyway, will post more later. It's power hour.
